How Racing Silks Scoring Works
Dream Yard is not simply about finding winners. It is about building a stable capable of scoring the most points across an entire race meeting.
Every horse earns Racing Silks Points based on how it performs compared with market expectation. Those points can contribute to your horse selections, Trainer, Jockey and Stable Star—creating hundreds of tactical combinations.
Step 1 – Calculate Performance
A horse that performs better than the betting market expected earns positive Racing Silks Points. A horse that performs below expectation scores negatively.
That means every runner is judged on performance relative to expectation—not simply on whether it wins.
Step 2 – Where Those Points Count
Horse Selection
Every race selection scores its own Racing Silks Points.
Trainer
Every runner trained by your selected Trainer contributes to your Trainer total. More runners can mean more opportunities to score.
Jockey
Every ride from your selected Jockey contributes to your Jockey score.
Stable Star
Choose one horse as your Stable Star and its Racing Silks Points are scored again as a bonus.
Step 3 – Build Your Strategy
Concentrate Your Points
Imagine one horse is:
- Your race selection
- Trained by your selected Trainer
- Ridden by your selected Jockey
- Your Stable Star
If that horse earns +18 Racing Silks Points, one outstanding performance can transform your score.
Spread Your Points
Instead of relying on one horse, you might choose:
- Horse A as your race selection
- Horse B through your Trainer
- Horse C through your Jockey
Now you collect points from multiple runners throughout the race. You may not land the huge return from one exceptional performance, but your scoring can become more consistent.
The Dream Yard Question
Traditional tipping competitions ask one question:
“Who is going to win?”
Dream Yard asks a completely different question:
“How can I maximise Racing Silks Points across this race?”
